I had been looking for a collar for my old dog for his birthday. Wanted something that would be light weight on his neck and soft so it wouldn't pull his fur. This collar is exactly that. I had to return the collar because my dog passed away just before the collar arrived. But it is exactly what I was looking for, exceptional quality.
A great, light weight and neoprene padded collar. Other collars that are similar don't sit right around the neck. You have to get used to slipping the clasp through the ring but that's not hard, and it's the system that allows maximum comfort for your dog. I highly recommend! Also bought a leash and I love Chai's Choice.
I purchased these for my three small dogs (9lb Affenpinscher, 20 lb shih tzu/beagle mix, and 23 lb beagle). I measured their necks with a sewing tapemeasure. They run a little larger than I expected--I can get four fingers under the smallest setting, rather than just two--but as I use their collars for identification only, I prefer a looser fit for their comfort. For those who prefer a tighter fit, I would consider sizing down if your pup is between sizes. The collars do look wide on their necks, as noted on some reviews, but that is because the mesh padding extends beyond the actual collar to keep the edge of tougher part the collar from digging into the skin, an excellent idea! It takes some getting used to visually, but I like it. Thank you, Victor, for answering all my questions!

My dog's collar gave him a raw spot on his neck. I like for my dogs to wear collars with their tag on it. I bought this for him and now raw spot and my dog loves it. H3 doesn't like 8f 8 take it off. ??
